Yunnan Blonde (Black Tea)｜Chinese tea

Yunnan Blonde is a gourmet Dianhong black tea grown in the Yunnan Province. “Dian” is in fact a reference to the province, used in the official documents back from days gone by. Known locally as the Daye (“Big Leaf”), this assamica variety of Camellia Sinensis has always been a local plant in the region. One of China’s most famous teas, it can be easily differentiated from other Chinese black teas by its “golden tips” (fine leaf buds) present in the dried tea. When brewed, look for a golden orange colour, delivering a rich floral sweetness, gentle aroma and smooth body.
